Joe and Lily have spent nearly 30 years in global missionary work, serving as pastors and church planters in Africa, the USA, and Latin America. They focus on mentoring and empowering new ministers to expand God's kingdom and engage more effectively with Christ. Their work includes collaboration with WEC and World Team in Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon, as well as Joe's role as a LAPD Chaplain. They are committed to supporting diverse communities and creating inclusive environments for those unfamiliar with the church. Pastor Joe holds an M.Div from Fuller Seminary, pursued further doctoral studies, and is an ordained minister with the FMSC.
Pastor Freddy, a Bethania Bible Institute graduate, has served as a pastor in Mexico alongside his wife Tere, who is our church secretary. After earning his degree from Fuller Seminary, he joined his family in serving our church congregation. Additionally he also works as a Hospice Chaplain. Together, they have served our church leadership for many years, guiding their congregation towards a deeper relationship with the Lord.
Before joining 180 City Church, Pastor Phil served as a leader at Set Free Ministry. In addition to his role as a lay pastor and his volunteer work at our church, he is a chaplain with ANRA and oversees the Hardly Riders Motor Club. Pastor Phil has been a dedicated member of our congregation for over 30 years.
Lay Pastor Angel Araque and his wife Claudia have served as volunteer staff, overseeing the Spanish Ministry team and coordinating mission church plants in Honduras. With two young children, Angel and Claudia have been active in the church for the past few years, passionately engaging with people and reaching out to their community.
Higor, his wife Carol, and their daughter Annie serve as Youth Leaders at 180 City Church. Affiliated with YWAM as missionaries from Brazil, they are dedicated to guiding our youth and young adults in deepening their relationship with God.
